Thank You for the video regarding the latest firmware update on the DJI Neo. I have done the update to 01.00.0300 on both the drone itself and the battery. Did A test flight on the Direction Track Mode. Very disappointed, the problem was not solved. It still swings left and right and very unstable while trying to track the target. Hope DJI will fix this problem on their next firmware update.
I heard about the new firmware, and I'm glad it sorted out the positioning issues Neo owners. I'm in the US, and were still waiting on the Neo, so hopefully by the time it arrives most of the issues are fixed by firmware updates. Great video, and thanks for sharing.
Nice one Nobby....Very useful video well presented. Would not have known about doing the batteries so many thanks...For that alone I liked and subscribed and look forward to further gems from you. CHEERS, Steve
I was flying this day after the Update Indoor. It is a little bit better to hold the Position. If the conditions are bad, for example lightness, you get a warning, and the Neo hold not exactly the Position, but you can work again with the controller. Before the update, sometimes the Neo drifted by side, and you can not make corrections with the controller. Sometimes the drone was landing, and you can not do anything again. I find thatbis the difference, that the controller to fly have priority again the Sensors and automatic programmed instructions.
I have just updated my Neo as well. I hadn't thought about updating the batteries though. Thank you for the tip. Since it's raining here too, I haven't been able to check whether the Neo is holding its position better now.
I got a dji i neo and i purchased it last month but i tried it with a remote control. it flies away from me and i cant control it and land 1km from my location,a little bit annoying a small drone fly away that cannot control.
My NEO and RC2 controllers firmware are up to date, but I appear to have lost the ability to adjust the camera sharpness via the RC2 camera settings. Any idea why?
Happened in Direct Track for me Nobby on my bike it went to the side off me and hit a tree I was told to send it back to DJI who issued me with a new Neo.
@@nobby-green they just asked me to send it straight back Nobby I have DJI refresh but obviously this was all done under the warranty fantastic service from DJI.
Hello, I recently bought this drone and have a big question. Could you please let me know if it's possible to use the DJI NEO with the controller and voice commands, like 'Circle' or 'Follow,' at the same time? Or do I need to disconnect the controller each time and switch to phone mode to use voice commands? Thank you!
For Polish language they still kept wrong translation of options. In Polish we got two translations of a word "Close". "Blisko" as in being very near to object and "Zamknij" as in shut the door or close the window. Well to fly close to object they picked word "Zamknij". So for now I may use drone closed on my position but i do not have a key yet to it ;-)
Before the update using direction tracking unless I walked in a straight line it would not continue to fly backwards in front of me but would wander off to the side and eventually end up behind me. This update had no effect.
mine keeps losing connection to satellites and drifting/accelerating on its own while using the motion controller. this is unsafe and unacceptable. I've read in forums that many people are having this problem. latest firmware update has had no effect. i cant even fly it for fear it will just fly away
Thanks Nobby! You are the DJI firmware update police and a legend! 👏👏👏👏 A few tips for people only using their phones to update (like I did 'cos I couldn't be a***d to switch on my controller 🤣) Once the firmware has downloaded, power down the Neo, and exit the app. Then power up the Neo restart the app and you should be prompted to install. You'll need to do this with each battery, but you won't need to download the firmware each time.. Subscribe to Nobby to be the first to know of any firmware updates - he's a legend and literally just sits there all day switching his drones on and off again to see if a new update has come through so he can tell us about it!
